Success at the 2017 NJBS and Futurity!
We were blessed with a wonderful National Junior Brangus Show and Futurity. We were awarded Grand Champion Breeders Herd with a few of the best from our string. Savannah had a great show as she was the Senior Showmanship Champion and the Senior on the Champion Team Fitting Team. We are so proud of Savannah’s commitment and dedication to her calves and the ranch. It really paid off at the National Junior Brangus Show this year. A big thanks to our awesome crew who help make it all possible: Mario Abdi Carrasco, Darin Wiley, Jr Carrasco, Lane Webb, Markus Garza, Myles Hackstedt, and Denny Douglass. Wow what an awesome 2016 Brazoria County Fair and Savannah’s last year showing as a junior. Thanks to a great group of kids Briana Hicks, Kyle Martin, Gilberto Carrasco(JR), Savannah Scott, and Garrett Lashlee (not pictured). We also had an amazing crew Mario Abdi Carrasco, Darin Wiley, Denny Douglass, Lane Webb, Casey Buzzard and Kirby Eaves, that made our cattle look absolutely beautiful. In memory of Miss BAR J Destini 222L5. The Matriarch of Triple Crown Ranch.
Destini was the foundation of our Brangus herd and the start of our phenomenally successful 222 cow family. We have retained more daughters, granddaughters and great-granddaughters out of Destini than any other cow on our ranch. Her legacy will live on through the generations to come and we are forever grateful for the winning stamp she has put on the Triple Crown Ranch.Destini had to be humanely euthanized due to hardware disease. It was a terrible and unexpected tragedy. Please do not let this happen to a valued member of your herd.
